From ILAC to Global ACI: International Recognition Remains in Place
CR3-Analytik is accredited by the “Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle” (German Accreditation Body/DAkkS) in accordance with ISO 17025. Regular audits by DAkkS ensure the accuracy and independence of our work. Many customers ask us whether our test reports are also recognized internationally. The answer is: Yes.
Until now, this has been ensured through mutual international recognition under the auspices of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) and indicated by the use of the corresponding logo.
On January 1, 2026, however, ILAC was fully integrated into Global ACI (Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated). EA (European co-operation for Accreditation), the European network of national accreditation bodies, is a member of Global ACI. However, since the new Global ACI logo is still in the trademark registration process and will not be introduced until October 2026 at the earliest, the EA-DAkkS logo will be used on our test reports until then as a symbol of international recognition.
The previous global mutual recognition arrangement (ILAC MRA) has been directly incorporated into the new Global ACI mutual recognition arrangement (GLOBAC MRA). The mutual acceptance of test reports and calibration certificates continues without interruption.
In summary, nothing will change regarding the international recognition of CR3- Analytik test reports, except that the ILAC logo will be temporarily replaced by an EA logo and later by the Global ACI logo.
